Alpha School of Massage is dedicated to keeping massage education affordable. Student loans aren’t necessary. Our Advanced Massage Therapy 650-Hour Program keeps the cost of massage school to less than $2,000. That’s just $149.00 per month after the enrollment fee. We do this by transferring the cost of operating the massage school to massage clients. See “How It Works” below.
If time is more important to you our Massage Therapy 501-Hour program can be completed in less than 20 weeks. This program is still $1,000s less than some of our competitors.

Online Massage Programs
Did you know that you can do part of massage school online? Now you can with Alpha Anywhere, an at-home massage curriculum designed to make massage school convenient for everyone. Students will be able to do their coursework from home through our online Learning Management System. Our hands-on instruction will take place at our campus in Jacksonville bimonthly adding even more opportunities to go to massage school and start a new career in this great and growing profession.

We are approved by the Florida Commission For Independent Education, The Florida Board of Massage, Georgia’s GNPEC, The National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and the Georgia Board of Massage. We are currently seeking approval in New Jersey. We graduated 68 students in 2022 from our Jacksonville campus and we have helped over 1,700 students become massage therapists. How It Works
We understand that at $1,000s less than other massage schools in Florida our program can sound too good to be true. That’s why it’s important to us that you understand how it works. Most schools depend largely on tuition fees. Alpha School of Massage does it differently. We depend on revenue from student massage practice. You will be practicing what you learn in our public student clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. This provides you with the real-world, hands-on experience you will need to excel in your new profession and the clients provide the revenue the school needs to waive traditional tuition payments. Lead AM Instructor:
Michael Garcia is an RN and LMT who has been teaching at Alpha since 1995. He is also a graduate of Alpha. Michael was a past president of the local chapter of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and a past officer of the American Massage Therapy Association. His extensive knowledge in the field of massage continues to grow with his recent certification in MLD. MA# 21545 RN# 974742
Lead PM Instructor:
Robert Serafine graduated from Alpha in 2016. He is proficient in neuromuscular, deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, and hot stone. In addition he has certifications in yoga and personal training. Rob has served on FSMTA as the Sports Massage Chairman and Chapter Treasurer. MA# 428343
Hybrid Model, In-Person and Online
If you are actively looking for a massage school in Jacksonville, Florida you are aware that tuition and fees can run thousands of dollars. Alpha is bringing its 30 years of experience to an online massage program called Alpha Anywhere making massage school more affordable and convenient. We offer a mix of live and online classes.

Alpha School of Massage first opened in Jacksonville, Fl. In 1992 and has operated at the same location ever since. Our lead instructor graduated from Alpha in 1996 and our Licensed Massage Therapists and instructors are all graduates of his. We are all eager to share our experiences in person and online.

Options
Alpha School of Massage offers two programs. While both programs will offer quality education and meet Florida’s requirements for licensure, one is built for speed while the other is built for maximum hands-on experience and affordability. Our students will have access to our Advanced Massage Therapy 650-hour program that forgoes tuition. This is our most popular program. Students pay just $149 per month and can graduate for less than $2,000. We don’t charge tuition for our Advanced Massage Therapy 650-hour program. Rather, your participation in our student clinic helps raise the revenue needed to operate the school and keep massage school tuition at $0. Convenient and affordable are the goals of Alpha School of Massage in Jacksonville, FL.
