Benefits of Facials and Skincare Services
A facial service is a great way to implement good skincare hygiene and skin fitness. The benefits of student facials are far-reaching and go beyond just pricing. You will be working with knowledgeable skincare students and licensed staff that will analyze your skin and work with you to help improve your complexion.
Your face is subject to some of the harshest conditions including sun, heat, cold, pollution, and improper home regiments. Our Facial Specialist students will help you combat those negative elements with a proper analysis of the skin that will help them choose the proper Image Skincare products for your needs. You'll learn about your skin and be treated to a service created for your specific needs.
Some skincare services require advanced planning to be sure your skin is ready to receive treatment. If you are scheduling a waxing, chemical peel, or microdermabrasion service, review Pre and Post Care for Waxing Services or Pre and Post Care for Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peel Treatments.
Our Esthetics and Skincare Clinic is on the second floor of our Administration and Education Building located at 4642 San Juan Avenue. If you are unable to navigate stairs, please request a first-floor room when booking your appointment.
All services are performed by students in a supervised setting.
facials
European Facial: A deep, relaxing facial treatment. Service includes deep cleanse, steam, exfoliation, extractions if needed, facial massage, masque, serum, moisturizer/SPF, eye serum and lip treatment. Each service is customized; students will select products specific to your skincare needs. Elevate – ask your student facial specialist about enhancements and upgrades available.
Men’s Beard Facial: Men, take your beard to the next level. Not only does your face get a deep cleanse, but so does your beard. This helps to stimulate new hair growth and clean out any bits you’re missing during your daily beard routine. You will leave this service feeling relaxed and your beard feeling soft, strong and looking its best. Service includes: cleanse, steam, exfoliation, extractions if needed, high frequency treatment*, facial massage, masque, finished off with beard oil and face moisturizer. *We ask that you don’t shave 24 hours before your treatment. Express Mini Facial: This is the perfect skincare service for a tight schedule. Relaxing mini facial including a cleanse, steam, exfoliation, masque, and moisturizer/SPF. Extractions and/or serums can be added to this facial for just $5 each.
Chemical Peels
(Consultation required to determine if client is a candidate for a peel. See pre & post care to plan for this service)
We offer enzyme-based for sensitive skin to acid-based for more aggressive treatment and faster results.
This service does not include extractions. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment – ask your student facial specialist about other enhancements and upgrades available.
Downtime should be expected after every peel. You will experience increased sensitivity and photosensitivity. You need to protect your skin from sun exposure for at least 48 hours post-treatment and will need to use the proper products to care for and maintain your skin at home. Additionally, you need to avoid anything that will “heat” the skin such as vigorous exercise/sweating, sauna, hot tub/hot bath, alcohol, or spicy foods.
Benefits: Improves acne scarring, evens skin texture, reduces the appearance of sun damage and smooths fine lines. You’ll see results after one service, but benefits are cumulative and more visible after several treatments.
Image Designer Peels: Ormedic Lift, Lightening Lift, Wrinkle Lift, and Acne Lift (see pre & post care to plan for this service):
O2 Facial "A breath of fresh skin" (see pre & post care to plan for this service): Luxury facial service that infuses oxygen and plant derived stem cells. Also contains peptides and a high concentration of enzymatic botanicals. You will receive a deep exfoliation along with a bubbling oxygen mask to revive the skin. Very results driven; you will notice a difference after one treatment. This service does not include extractions, but they can be added for $5. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment.
Signature Facelift Treatment (see pre & post care to plan for this service): Combines fruit enzymes and hyaluronic acid to exfoliate and infuse your skin with potent antioxidants and moisture. Treatment gives noticeable results in just one session. This service does not include extractions. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment – ask your student facial specialist about other enhancements and upgrades available.
Image Advanced Peels: Advanced BHA Lift and Perfection Lift (see pre & post care to plan for this service): Advanced peels require a series of three services BEFORE to prepare the skin. These services must be booked in person and are not available to be booked online or over the phone.

MicrodermAbrasion services
(Consultation required to determine if client is a candidate for a microdermabrasion. See pre & post care to plan for this service)
Microdermabrasion (see pre & post care to plan for this service): A mechanical exfoliation that sloughs off dead skin cells, stimulates collagen production and rejuvenates the skin. Service includes deep cleanse, diamond microdermabrasion, masque, serum, and moisturizer/SPF. This service does not include facial massage or extractions. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment.
Benefits: Reduces the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation and acne scars, cleanses the pores and more. See more results by scheduling a series of treatments.
O2 Micro (microdermabrasion with O2 Facial) (see pre & post care to plan for this service): Microdermabrasion meets oxygen therapy for instantly radiant skin. A traditional microdermabrasion treatment is followed with the revolutionary oxygenating masque and stem cell infusion system by Image Skincare, leaving skin exfoliated, oxygenated and illuminated. This service does not include extractions. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment – ask your student facial specialist about other enhancements and upgrades available.
MicroPeel (see pre & post care to plan for this service): Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peel using 25% lactic peel or 33% glycol peel. Service includes deep cleanse, diamond microdermabrasion, acid or enzyme peel, serum, and moisturizer/SPF. This service does not include extractions. Elevate by adding eye serum and lip treatment – ask your student facial specialist about other enhancements and upgrades available.
Back treatments
Back Facial This treatment cleanses, exfoliates and moisturizes your back. Extractions are included if needed. A very relaxing service that leaves your back looking fresh and feeling balanced.

Tinting
Eyebrow tinting enhances the natural appearance of the eyebrow and can help them to look fuller. Tinting the eyelashes helps give the lashes a deep, darker appearance.

Eye Serum and Lip Treatment $10 add to Microderm, Chemical Peel, or Express Mini Facial
Enhancers $10 each ask your student about adding these to your service for better results
Extractions $5 add to Express Mini Facial
Electrical/Machine Therapies $10 each:
**Electrotherapies should not be used on people with a heart condition, pacemaker, metal implants, braces, pregnant clients, or clients with epilepsy or a seizure disorder.
Galvanic Iontophoresis** – uses electric current to “ionize” or break down products so they can be absorbed in to the skin more effectively.
Deincrustation** – galvanic current creates a chemical reaction that emulsifies (“melts”) sebum and deposits in the follicles. Very beneficial for oily/acneic skin types.
Skin vacuum – uses suction to vacuum impurities from the surface of the skin. Excellent results when combined with galvanic desincrustation.
High Frequency treatment **– electrode creates ozone and has a germicidal effect on the skin. Accelerates healing, stimulates circulation, oxygenates skin, increases cellular metabolism, helps product penetration
Add-ons are not available for every service.
HAIR REMOVAL - Waxing
Waxing services times vary. Depending on quantity of hair there may be an add-on charge of $5 per area. Ask your student facial specialist for more information.
