At any massage school, the student massage clinic is an important piece of the business model. Students perform massages and clients pay a reduced rate for those massage services. This is a major part of the revenue source for most, if not all, programs. This is especially true for Alpha School of Massage. While most programs have two mainstreams of revenue: tuition and their student clinics, Alpha’s tuition revenue is minimal. Most of our students elect our 900-Hour program that has no tuition. The revenue for this program is produced in our student clinic. The massages our students provide are sold to the public allowing us to forgo tuition. Students pay just $99/month and only while they attend. When they graduate they are done paying.
The next time you visit Alpha or one of our partner spas (like Massage Theory in Jacksonville or Yulee, Florida) to get a student massage, remember that you are likely helping that student to bypass tuition costs and jump into their new career without any debt associated with their training.
