Did you know that massage practice is required by the state of Florida? It is. Massage students are required to do a specified number of hours in clinical practicum. At Alpha School of Massage, and our partner spas, this means working on real clients, not just fellow students, and friends. This work, we feel, is important for preparing our students to be licensed professionals. They walk in the door on day one of their new career prepared to help their clients relax, feel better, maybe overcome some deficiency in movement, and make a great living doing it. The real-world practice they get in our clinics is valuable experience towards their success and the wellbeing of their clients. We know this to be true from the conversations we have with the many employers we serve in the area and the graduates who return to thank us for training them so well.
